Campus Crime and Security Report reveals higher alcohol, drug and illegal weapons violations

The UNCW Campus Crime and Security Report revealed sky-high alcohol-related disciplinary violations. In 2009 the number of a incidents ( arrests plus violations) totaled 1,259. Although arrests are down, referrals have gone up from 452 in 2008 to 662 last year.

How many college kids can say they received an American Apparel T-shirt, sunglasses, a bag and Croakies? Not many.

Security has been a focus of High Point University this year. With a growing student body university officials believe that students need a safer campus. That is where the idea of having a Cashless Campus came from.

On August 30th, the Extraordinaire cinema on campus will be showing "Date Night" starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey at 8pm.

"Date Night" is a comedy about a boring, middle-aged couple's that attempt to spice up their routine by going to a trendy restaurant.
